I know what it's like to feel as if hope is for everyone else. From a very young age, I have had lived experience with mental illness, bullying, and questions around my ethnic and LGBTQ identity. I used to think “it gets better” was a lie meant for more socially palatable people, but I have finally reached a place where I have been able to make things better on my own. While progress is never linear, I am in a place where I am able to determine my own path in life and face challenges with a far better attitude. I believe in advocating for myself and supporting others in the community, so if you're going through a tough time, let's work through it together!
